A Different PB&J Sandwich For National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day

April 2nd is National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day. We’ve enjoyed PB&J sandwiches every which way, but here’s a different PB&J sandwich from Fix & Fogg, manufacturers of our favorite artisanal peanut butter.

For fun and a bit of tart flavor, they added crunchy freeze-dried raspberry flakes to match the raspberry jam (photo #1).

Freeze-dried raspberry flakes a.k.a. raspberry chips (photo #2), are available in strawberry and other flavors.

Can’t get raspberry flakes fast enough? Head to the next section.

Change or add just one thing to make your PB&J special. For example:

  • On a baguette.
  • On country bread.
  • On a croissant.
  • On raisin toast or walnut-raisin toast.
  • Cut into fun shapes with a large cookie cutter.
  • Topped with chopped peanauts or mixed nuts.
  • With a “garnish” layer of marshmallow cream (e.g. Fluff).
  • With a layer of bananas.
  • With a layer of sliced fresh fruit to match the jelly/jam.
  • With a layer of crunchy apple chips.
  • With a layer of granola or trail mix.
  • With a layer of Nutella.
  • A PB&J hero: baguette, PB&J, chopped nuts, fresh fruit, marshmallow cream!

  • Peanut Butter & Jelly Fudge
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly Oatmeal
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly Pizza
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly Smoothie
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly Waffles
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly Quesadilla
  • Piano Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich
  • Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge
