RECIPE: GRAND MARNIER SUNDAE
You can substitute another orange liqueur.
Ingredients
Vanilla ice cream
Orange sorbet
Grand Marnier orange liqueur
Optional garnish: orange zest
For Serving
Chocolate: chocolate-dipped candied orange peel or orange slices, dark chocolate squares.
Cookies: almond tuiles or thins, amaretti, meringues, shortbread.
Nuts: caramelized almonds or hazelnuts, brittle, sesame candies.
Preparation
1. PLACE a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a scoop of orange sorbet into a coupe, other dessert dish, or a wide wine or cocktail glass (e.g., Burgundy glass, Margarita glass).
2. POUR a jigger (more or less to taste) over the ice cream/sorbet. Sprinkle lightly with orange zest and serve.
