RECIPE: Smoky Deviled Eggs
Our father loved deviled eggs, and every Father’s Day we made him two or three different recipes. You’ll find a bunch of them if you search for “deviled egg recipe” in the search box at the top of the page (the search box at the right only searches the blog portion of TheNibble.com). This year’s recipe addition adds a hot and smoky touch that goes great with a beer. The recipe is from SafeEggs.com, producers of pasteurized eggs (here are all the foods where you should consider pasteurized eggs). Prep time is 10 minutes after the eggs are cooked. Here’s how to hard-boil eggs. RECIPE: SMOKY DEVILED EGGS Ingredients For 24 Halves |

Preparation 1. CUT the hard-boiled eggs in half and carefully remove the yolks. Mash the yolks and mix with the mayonnaise, mustard, ranch dressing, hot sauce, onion, paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper until well combined. 2. SPOON the egg yolk mixture into the egg white halves and garnish with chopped cilantro and an optional sprinkle of paprika. How much do you know about the “simple” egg?
